Once upon a year

“Fairy tales are true,” wrote Italo Calvino; on reflection, he was right once again.

From this came the idea of imagining 2026 as a sequence of twelve fairy tales, turning each month into a small stage where everyday objects become leading actors: two red flowers turn into a famous Little Red Riding Hood, three peaches start to grunt, a frog made of green lemons transforms into a Prince Charming, a tailor’s tools steal a carpenter’s craft, and a puppet comes to life… while ice-cream cones and wafers rise up to build an enchanted castle.

The unspoken wish is to live three hundred and sixty-five enchanted days, filled with beautiful stories and happy endings, in short, a truly fairy-tale 2026.
